Hillside Botanicals is a certified organic herb farm and artisan apothecary located in the rolling hillsides of Central Vermont, the ancestral lands of the Abenaki people. Using regenerative organic practices, we cultivate over two dozen varieties of medicinal and culinary herbs and fruits, many of which are the star ingredients in our herbalist-formulated wellness products. We have been certified by Vermont Organic Farmers and the Real Organic Project since 2019, and we are additionally certified as a Bee Friendly Farm for our efforts in stewarding healthy pollinator communities.

Our cofounder and co-owner, Sarah Shaw, is our in-house Clinical Herbalist and manages formulation and production of our handcrafted products, which include Fire Cider, organic herbal teas, organic herbal tinctures, botanical skincare formulas, and full-spectrum CBD products, all made with farm-direct herbs sourced from our fields.

We also operate a seasonal plant nursery with over 200 varieties of certified organic vegetable, herb and flower starts, and a growing collection of unique perennials including trees and shrubs.
